Ric Mergenhagen
Sibok Ric Mergenhagen is a 6th Degree Master Black Sash Tai Chi Instructor under the instruction of Grandmaster Dan Suchon at Nei Wai Chia Kung Fu Academy. Sibok Ric started his martial arts instruction in Korean Jiu Jitsu. He met Grandmaster Suchon and joined Nei Wai Chia (1998). Ric was awarded Sifu rank in 2005, and Sibok Master Instructor in 2012. In 2009 Sibok Ric moved his practices to more internal arts Tai Chi and Qigong.. In 2019 Ric studied Shaolin Qigong with Master Marcus Santer from England.. This Shaolin Temple Qigong is called 18 Lohan Hands System.. Ric has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University. He retired from Dow Chemical in 2008. He currently teaches Engineering and Operations classes part-time as an Adjunct Professor at Brazosport College.
Melody Torres
Sifu Melody Torres is a 4rd degree Black Sash in Nei Wai Chia Kung Fu. She began her studies in the Youth class and is now an instructor. Melody is also an accomplished dancer, and musician
Carolyn Langhoff
Sifu Carolyn Langhoff started her journey in the Martial Arts the age of five. She later joined Nei Wai Chia in 2006, began her study under Dan Suchon and is currently a 3rd degree black sash.

Sifu Martin Villarreal is a 4rd degree Black Sash in Nei Wai Chia Kung Fu. .
Chris Munnelly
Sifu Chris Munnelly is a 4th degree Black Sash in Nei Wai Chia. He came to us in 2015 from Massachusetts where he studied various martial arts including American Kempo Karate, where he earned a 3rd Degree Black Belt under Master Larry Leavitt, and Shotokan Karate. Sibok Chris graduated from Brandeis University in 1982. He was Captain of the Fencing team and competed in the NCAA Nationals in 1982 as a Saber Fencer. Chris has a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and works as a Software Developer. He is also an artist who specializes in Pen and Ink.
